What Digital Safety is
Digital Safety is a family scam-protection platform for India, built around three pieces: an Android app that watches for known scam patterns on a protected person’s phone (in development), a guardian web dashboard that shows what was found (available today, seeded with demo data), and a shared privacy model that decides exactly what a guardian can and cannot see.
How the pieces fit together
The phone-side app is meant to recognize scam patterns locally and send only a risk category, a rule identifier, and a timestamp to the guardian dashboard — never the message, call, or transaction content itself. A guardian only sees data for a family member who has explicitly granted consent, and that consent can be withdrawn at any time.
What exists today
The guardian web dashboard is built and running with seeded demonstration data: alerts, incidents, device protection health, a weekly digest, family consent management, data export, and account settings. The Android detection app that would generate real alerts has not been built yet.
